Research Opportunities

Opportunity for Ph.D. study, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada. Research directions include (but not limited to): 6G communication networks, IoT, and/or smart health technology. Requirements include: (1) Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering; (2) High GPA; (3) Good programming and mathematical analysis/optimization skills; and (4) Good IELTS score (given the candidate has already taken the test).

Best poster (CIHR category) awarded: Sadman Sakib (with Dr. Fadlullah as supervisor) received the award at the research week event at Lakehead University.

Paper accepted: IEEE ICC 2020,"AI Aided Noise Processing of Spintronic Based IoT Sensor for Magnetocardiography Application", Feb. 2020.

Speaker: at the 1st ever Tedx event at Lakehead University on November 2015. The theme of the event was Redesign. Dr. Fadlullah's talk was on: "The Fusion of AI and IoT to Bridge Urban-Rural Healthcare Gaps".
